However I was told by this forum and others (posting screenshots with 4K60hz) that there is a workaround where I am able to achieve 4K at 60hz or at least 50hz. I know the early MBP 2013 doesn't natively support it. Right holding Alt/Options as well, but the only option I have is 30Hz, which is not acceptable. I am on a early 15' Macbook Pro Retina Display with dual Intel 4000 and Geforce 650M GPU. Is it possible to run 120Hz in general on Mac OS on this TV with my Macbook? Currently I can't get the option to appear. I do know that there is a StarTech Mini DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 adapter which should enable me to run 4K 60Hz on it. But I guess those aren't available yet for HDMI 2.1 (which this TV supports). This will probably have to be done with some sort of adapter. But would it be possible to run 4K 120Hz on my new LG OLED C9 TV (55 inch model) while using my Mid 2014 Macbook Pro? (I have the one with a GeForce GT 750M 2GB inside). Yeah I know, this sounds like a bit of an impossible challenge.
